RIP Fest - Rest in Plano

On Saturday, October 24th, from 5 p.m.- 10 p.m., downtown Plano will host the annual Rest In Plano Fest. This free, Halloween-themed festival is held in the Downtown Plano Arts District. McCall Plaza will feature entertainment, music, food, drinks, and more!

The Interurban Railway Museum will be open during Rest in Plano, so be sure to stop by for some goodies and festive decorations. We are also proud to host a new event called Legends and Lore, where you can step into Plano’s past for a spooky storytelling experience!

Join us at the Interurban Railway Museum for tales of mysterious happenings, ghostly encounters, and the legends woven into our city’s history. These short, engaging programs will bring Plano’s past to life with stories that may leave you wondering what really happened after dark.

Legends and Lore takes place every half hour from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on October 24, 2026. Admission is free, but tickets are required. Free tickets will be available at the museum 15 minutes before each show. Space is limited to 20 people per show, so arrive early to reserve your spot!

Please note: Programs take place inside historic Car 360, which has no seating and is not wheelchair accessible. Guests should plan to stand for approximately 10–15 minutes during the experience.
